ALISON'S STORY

Alison, at 16, had to stop all academics and athletics because of an unknown illness. Ultimately, it was determined that there had been a virus in her spinal cord that left her quadriplegic, unable to move from the neck down. A number of neurologic issues and organ damage ensured. Traditional medical care left gaps and caused her family to search for relief, healing and answers. About a year later, she tried Integrative Manual Therapy.

Within 5 months, she was walking again without even the use of a cane. Because of the powerful influence and hope of IMT, Alison went on to study with them, beginning in 2003. That opened the door to a love of learning and studying many different manual therapies and movement arts.

She loves bringing hope and compassion into treatment sessions and enjoys working with moms and children, the lymphatic system and detox.
